Happy Halloween

I hope you all enjoyed your Halloween. I have enjoyed seeing all the trick or treaters tonight. There has been some very cute costumes. My son was "Larry the Cable Guy" Git-R-Done! I thought I would go through the pictures tonight and show yall some of our families costumes from the past.

Yesterday was my son's 15th Birthday. Christopher Paul Watkins was born on October 30, 1991, to Ken and Donna (Milligan) Watkins. He is their one and only son. He is the oldest Grandchild of Kay Milligan. I also have a blog that I have started for the son. This is a blog about my teenagers life. The good the bad and school. I started it a few days before the Odom blog. It starts as he began his life as a freshman in High school. Happy "53" Birthday Frank (FrankOdom). Lillie Mae is the third child to Henry and Ella Criswell. She was the wife to Edmond Odom. She is the Mother of Five, Cotton, Tom, Joyce, James, and Kay. And Grandmother and great grand mother and Great great grand mother to many. My Mom "Kay" is the daughter to Edmond and Lillie Mae Odom. She was the youngest of the five Children. She is the wife to Paul Milligan and the Mother of two daughters Vicki Volkman and Donna Watkins, and Grandmother of three.
Frank Odom is the Son of Neron "Cotton" and Betty Odom. He is the Father of Three Sons Frank, Jr., Jamason and Blake and Grandfather to one. And honorary Grandfather his nieces children. The picture was taken on 10/26/1960.

On October 13, 1934, Lillie Mae and Edmond Odom had their third child, Ella "Joyce" Odom Harbin, Their First Daughter. She is the Mother of Debra Sims, Grandmother to Jason and Juston Colbert and Her favorite title is Great-grandmother to Carson and Connor Colbert. She is also the best Aunt. I love you Aunt Joyce!

Talladega Bound

Sunday, Nascar was at Talladega for the UAW - Ford 500. For you non-Nascar fans This is a Nascar race at the Talladega Speedway in Talladega, Alabama. This race is a Nascar Nextel Cup Series (188 laps - 500 miles). This past Sunday my husband Ken and son Christopher went to the race. On Monday I found out that Brandi and her husband Chris and his brother was also at the race.

Welcome Home Brandon

Brandon is at home. He was released on Friday. Please continue keeping Brandon and his Parents in your thoughts and prayers because he is still healing and has a lot of trips weekly to rehab and doctor appointments. We Love You Brandon, and we are very thankful you are home and doing so well.

95 years ago today October 6, 1911, in Laurens County, Laura Lee and William "Bill" Odom had their first child Thomas Edmond Odom. Edmond was the oldest of seven. He was married to Lillie Mae Criswell for 77 years. He is the Father of Five Children, Neron "Cotton", Tom, Joyce, James, and Kay. Grandfather to many that loved him very much. The last picture is a Dad getting a kiss from his Baby Girl.

This was sent by my Mom (Kay Milligan). --->Tammey called to give me Brandons phone number so I could call him. She also said he could only talk for just a few minutes, So when anyone calls make it really short. The best time to call him was after 3:30 because of all the physical therapy.

If you call, please remember that Brandon had his tongue badly cut and his jaw wired shut so it is difficult for him to talk. Mom said that she still could understand him.

Rub a dub, dub, two in a sink !

How many of us have been washed in Lillie Mae's kitchen sink. Picture top left is my son Chris Watkins and my Parents, Paul and Kay Milligan. The picture top right is Chris and my niece Rachel Volkman. Picture to the right is the kids with my sister Vicki and myself. Did you notice Chris with a shampoo mohawk. Rachel most have been teething or the baby shampoo bottle was real good. Not sure on the dates when these were taken. The first picture Chris looks much younger than the other two. I remember being bathed in that sink. I had to be little because I don't remember my legs hanging over. Do you have a picture of your self in the sink you are willing to share? If so send it to me.

I told him that a baby shower is where girls get together and give gifts for the new baby. He was ok with that, then a few hours later Mckinnely (5 yr. friend) asked me where I was going, so I told her I was going to a baby shower- Carson said a baby shower is where grown ups go and take baths :-) I LOVED IT!!!!!!!
